I’ve been postponing a good old fashioned photoshoot of my recent work for some time now. Finally, yesterday, my partner Rodrigo and I pulled out the camera, grabbed a few props, and converted our kitchen into a photo studio of sorts. Our apartment now looks like somewhat of a war zone, but I think the results came out quite nicely.
We didn’t photograph everything….so consider this Part 1! See the rest at my site: www.shannonlamb.com

Oh look! My Rustic Barn Save the Date popped up on Rustic Wedding Chic’s website! This site, with all of it’s cozy candle-lit barn scenes, makes me want to take-up wedding crashing as a hobby.

I just about fell out of my chair when I saw all the printables I did for LVD featured on one of my favorite blogs: How About Orange. I want to make everything she posts. Plus, the blogs author, Jessica Jones is an awesome textile designer. Anyways, this was a fantastic start to my day.

Today I quickly threw together some Good-Bye Cards for my Co-Workers at the City. All though I won’t miss my job, I’ll certainly miss them. So, with a happy-sad feeling in my heart, I’m writing them all a little note. It can’t encompass all our hours together, but at least now it feels like I’m saying a proper good-bye.
P.S. Please excuse the crappy phone-shot. I am without a camera at the moment.

Not only am I excited to see a blog post about an Australian Pinata Party, I’m also super excited to see that they used the Pinata Party Cards I did for LVD as their invitations! Yay! Pinatas! I hope that these cards will inspire many more pinata related festivities.

Jessica Hische is rad. And that, my friends, is an indisputable fact.
I stalk her blog regularly not just because she’s one of my design-heroes, but also because she offers up some seriously useful content for todays creatives. This morning while on her blog I stumbled upon something that wasn’t exactly useful freelancer info, but just something very, very cute:

Of course they built they’re own website. Ugh. So adorable.

A logo for a medical scrub company. This has been another co-production between myself and Mr. Rodrigo Calderon. It’s still evolving, but I’m excited about the direction it’s moving in. The only downside? I can’t stop whistling Zippity do da.

This links to a feature on Studio Castillero and consequently also features my photo save the dates, which just launched today on Love Vs. Design. I feel really lucky to have gotten to work with photographs from these two. In a sea of cliché wedding photos, I got to work with images that inspired what I hope are some fairly nice typographic solutions. They’ll be featured on 100layercake today, and I think on StyleMePretty sometime soon.
Cheers.
